Pim de Goede joins the ranks of the #1's after his historic chop in the 2018 MILLIONS Online.

He’s in the worldwide top-10 and for the month of July, Jonathan ‘proudflop’ Proudfoot is the king of the PLB points mountain. The Brit was the only player to top the 3,000 point mark on his way to claiming the title. Following Proudfoot is the usual group of Swedish and Russian characters with a few surprises thrown in.

Proudfoot gained control of the PLB title thanks to a few major wins. Sundays were kind to Proudfoot on partypoker and PokerStars. On July 29, Proudfoot effectively closed out his month by winning the PokerStars Sunday 500 for $27,938 accompanied by 382.75 points. That point total accounts for the largest percentage of Proudfoot’s monthly total of 3,216.30. Proudfoot had his say in June, as well, and improved from sixth in PLB to July’s top spot.

In second place by almost 500 points on the back of Proudfoot is Denmark’s Jonas ‘Palsgaard1’ Christensen. The #1 ranked Danish player and 35th overall worldwide did the majority of his damage in one event. Christensen took second place in the July 8 Sunday Million and earned 714.24 PLB points along with a career-high online score of $111,045.

Right behind Christensen is Russian rankings regular ‘papan9_p$.’ They finished July with another productive month that included eight wins with a triumph across PokerStars, partypoker, and 888poker. The last Sunday of July was the cherry on their month. A win in the partypoker Super Sunday 6-Max Bounty Hunter High Roller came with $23,204 in nuts and 302.03 worth of sprinkles.

The group of Swedes are in the fourth and seventh positions. ‘lena900’ stands just off the podium and is joined by June PLB winner ‘C Darwin2’ three spots behind.

Sweden remains the king of the jungle as ‘lena900’ leads the Worldwide Rankings with ‘C Darwin2’ in second. ‘lena900’ captured four wins with the best of the bunch coming on July 1. The PokerStars Hotter $109 ended with ‘lena900’ holding the trophy and $14,245 grand prize.

The crowning July triumph for ‘C Darwin2’ was a silver medal in partypoker’s Sunday Big Bounty Hunter High Roller. ‘C Darwin2’ notched 279.42 points for the result.

Second on the Ukraine charts and fifth in PLB is ‘Palyaaa.’ They put together another top-10 month after taking third in the June PLB rankings. As a result of the strong consecutive campaigns, ‘Palyaaa’ is up to a career-best Worldwide Ranking of 17th.

Current Worldwide top-10 member and former #1 Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez lodges in the sixth position. Gonzalez spent all of July recording results on partypoker and 888poker which resulted in six wins.

Two more Russians reside in the top-10 to close out the bottom of the third of the July PLB rankings. ‘kot_spartac’ is in the eighth spot and Worldwide #3 ‘hellohellohello’ dwells in 10th.

‘kot_spartac’ emerged with three wins in July in only two full weeks of action after ostensibly taking some time off to play live poker.

‘hellohellohello’ became the 37th player in PocketFives history to cross the $7 million mark in career tournament earnings. Their largest score of the monthly session was on PokerStars. The $2,100 Sunday High Roller winner’s circle came lined with 316.23 points and $38,215.

Doug ‘OU_dlanger610’ Lang is in the nine-hole. Lang put in a metric ton of volume in July and came away with five gold medal to show for his efforts. Officially around the corner on the second half of the year, Lang is ranked 50th in the world and fourth in his native Canada.

A month after David ‘bewater’ Goodman hit the top-10 in June’s PLB, fellow American Daniel ‘centrfieldr’ Lupo almost duplicated the feat. New Jersey’s Lupo finished 16th in the July PLB rankings, only 145 points outside of 10th.
