The partypoker MILLION and the GGPoker Masters both had heads-up deals this week.

After a one-week hiatus, the partypoker MILLION returned on Sunday and the second week of the Daniel Negreanu-inspired GGPoker Masters saw an even bigger turnout.

The partypoker MILLION drew 4,953 players this week to fall just 47 players short of the guarantee. Two players, ‘maktub1’ and ‘eL3v3n‘, made the most of it by chopping up nearly $260,000 after outlasting every other player. Taking the #1 spot earned ‘maktub1’ a $135,498.93 score while ‘eL3v3n’ banked $124,301.08 for finishing in second place. ‘ShortSqueeze‘ was eliminated in third and earned $68,500 for that finish.

The GGPoker Masters event, which is a freezeout with a $150 buy-in, drew 1,901 runners in just its second week of existence. Created by GGPoker pro Daniel Negreanu, the GGPoker Masters increased their guarantee from $250,000 to $300,000 this week despite missing the guarantee in the first week of action. The 1,901 players was 291 more than last week but still created a $37,662 overlay.

The final two players, ‘MwonderchilD‘ and ‘ruael‘ came to terms on a deal that gave ‘MwonderchilD’ a $36,794.72 payday and runner-up ‘ruael’ a $40,190.02 score. Third-place finisher ‘GorillaWarfare‘ ended up with $22,838.43.

The Winter Series continued on PokerStars with the Main Event taking the place of the Sunday Million this week. That two-day event will wrap up on Monday but there was still some big wins on the world’s largest online poker site.

‘Rebel FishAK‘ won $51,777.49 plus an additional $22,055.02 in bounties for beating out 8,990 other entries in the Sunday Warm-up SE PKO. The $530 High Roller Club Bounty Builder PKO event was won by ‘like1989’ for $48,291.43 and $35,968.11 in bounties.
